EVENTS CONCLUDED

(A) The CERC has successfully hosted FCT EPMIS Division which used the computer laboratory for FCT schools census upload.
(B) BECE and Promotion Exams result released. The FCT ERC has released the BECE and Promotion exam result for the year 2013 academic session. Parents are to purchase scratch cards from Fidelity Bank Plc. To check their children/ward’s result/posting.
ii) -Posting of students to various public schools in the FCT has also been released.                                           
iii)  –Science schools result has been released, parents are to go to the school of their children’s choice to check the results.                                                                                                                                                         
(C) –PRS Division: has successfully conducted research on these two areas:
(i) A survey on the Impact of Teacher Professional Training and Development in FCT Public Schools.                           
(ii) Survey on Reasons why some F.C.T Students Migrate to Neighboring
(iii)  States for Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).                      
(D) - TDD Division: has opened its sub-zonal offices at Karu and Kubwa.
(E)- CDD Division: FCT ERC annual book fair is over. The book fair started September 2, 2013 with an opening ceremony that took place on the 12th of September 2013. It is to last for four weeks. Parent/general public are encouraged to purchase books & recommended text for their children directly from the publishers at affordable prices.
(F) CERC/ ERC is organizing extra- mural classes for those that have deficiency in the science subjects. Registration is on now.
(ii) Computer classes are also available.
(iii) All our laboratories are well equipped with professional handlers to give tutorials.
(G) MEASUREMENT & EVALUATION
(i) Re-sit exam for BECE/Promotion is on for FCT schools.
(ii) Admission into FCT schools is on -going
(iii) Sales of admission forms for transfer cases is still on ,hurry make, payment to Aso Savings and Loans ERC Account.

(H) GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING DIVISION:
Monitoring of guidance and counseling units in FCT Public Secondary Schools has commenced for 2013/2014 Academic Session.
(I) EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
(i) The EIT division is currently training management staff on the use of Multi Choice Resource Centre in conjunction with Multi Choice Africa through collaboration with Multi Choice Nigeria and state education department. 
(ii) Printed charts of various kinds, for instructional resources for Private/Public Schools and the general public are now available
(iii) Rent functional public address system and video coverage for your public functions and social engagements.
Other Events includes:
(i) Meeting of FCT Guidance Counselors on 9th of Oct.
(ii) Post book fair meeting with the publishers on 26th September, 2013.
(iii) Analysis of NECO SSCE result is scheduled for 2nd October, 2013
